Experienced Business Services Accountant (Gold Coast, QLD)

This is an experienced business services and tax role for a CA or CPA qualified accountant who wants to help build something. As one of the first accountants in our new Gold Coast office, you will own client engagements end to end, from compliance through to genuine advisory work, and play a real part in growing the local client base. You sit close to the clients you advise, you are backed by an established firm, and there is a clear path to senior and leadership work as the office grows.

What you’ll do

• Own business services and tax compliance engagements from start to finish
• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns across company, trust, and individual structures
• Advise business owners on structuring, cash flow, and tax planning
• Build and manage client relationships across a growing Gold Coast portfolio
• Help establish and grow the new office alongside the directors
• Mentor junior accountants as the local team builds out

What you’ll need

• CA or CPA qualified with solid experience in an Australian public practice or accounting firm
• Strong across company, trust, and individual tax
• Confident with cloud accounting platforms such as Xero
• A genuine interest in advisory work, not just compliance
• The initiative and drive to help grow a new office
• Clear communication and real care for the people you work with
